The Alhambra Offices are conceived as a series of modulated, neighborhood-sized blocks. Instead of proposing a large, singular enclosure in a sensitive neighborhood context, this office building is broken into a series of interiors that surround upper-level courtyard spaces. Each courtyard space has distinct proportions and characteristics, bringing diverse conditions of light and relationships with nature. Some feature planters anchored on the floor, while others showcase vertical green walls. To navigate from one enclosure to another, users walk through and around gardens elevated off the ground.
