An existing house sits downhill on an aggressive site slope. The desire to leverage a view of the downtown skyline and sloping hill leads to a linear addition on the front of the house. The front face of the addition rotates to orient itself towards the center of downtown. The interior face of the addition folds into itself, creating a triangular courtyard. The roof surface must also negotiate the planimetric and sectional pressures but maintain roof angles that match the existing structure.
